Gunsmoke RV Park
The campground was established in 1978, but the park's new owners, Kevin and Viki, took over in July, 2017 and they welcome your visit. Good Sam Club ratings, Google and other reviews show they take pride in running a clean and friendly campground.
Gunsmoke RV Park is conveniently located 3 miles west of the infamous Boot Hill Museum and 1/3 mile south of the Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City, KS. A look around the park gives you a taste of the old west with some cool memorabilia of the classic western TV show, Gunsmoke – all located in the General Store.
Our pickup broke down and had to be towed pulling 5th wheel camper. We were there 1 week waiting on our truck to be fixed. The park was nice, clean, and quiet. I especially enjoyed getting to know the owner. She was pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed visiting with her. God bless you.
Very clean and friendly staff. Nice and quiet campers were friendly also
This was our last night to spend in our glamper. The park and restrooms are clean. Laundry was affordable. They gave us a great rate as all we needed was electric. The new owners are very friendly and are doing a great job with the park.
Convenient to town. New owner working to spruce up the place. Easy access to sites. Some shade at most of the sites. All building have a old time western look fronts. I'd stay here again.
Great place. Clever amenities all going with the wild west theme. We stayed on Miss Kitty lane. A very clean rv campground. Would definitely stay here again if we pass this way again.
Very friendly, helpful, open year long. Just West of town, easy access, gate locked security at night. Sites were clean and level. Full service.
Went above and beyond after hours. super friendly. love that the place is fenced and gated.
New owners are fixing it up. Easy in and out. Very convenient to Dodge City. Nice size lots. Great pool too.
We had a GREAT time here. It was insanely hot, so I was VERY thankful for the pool. Everything was neat and clean, the new owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and the kids loved the game room. The laundry services were nice and affordable, the bathrooms were some of the cleanest we've encountered in our travels, and the sites were level (and most of them pull thru). I also appreciated that as long as it didn't get too busy they tried to book every other campsite so trailers weren't so close together. We had no complaints.
Great spot for overnight or longer stay. Gravel but well maintained. Good restrooms
